Why Natural Medicine?
Natural medicines including psilocybin are a revolutionary healing modality that is as old as the hills and as new as tomorrow's headlines. They are revolutionary because they reveal our wholeness rather than treating our brokenness. Direct spiritual revelation is powerful because it is unmediated. After all, no one knows us like us! Just as our bodies can self-heal, so our psyches contain a deep common wisdom and blueprint to help us lead joyful, prosperous and fulfilling lives. But we have to deeply listen and obey. Properly facilitated and integrated, the experiences afforded by these natural visionary substances can lead to genuine and lasting personal transformation. At the very least, they provide insights and experiences that can be among the most meaningful of a lifetime. MY CREDENTIALS AND BIO
I am a longtime sojourner (50+ years) on the spiritual path. I hold a ThB in Theology and an MA in Consciousness Studies. My informal studies include such diverse subjects as classical alchemy, entheobotany, Holotropic Breathwork and shamanic studies. I am an ordained New Thought minister and a certified psycho-spiritual integration coach as well as being a licensed natural medicine facilitator in Colorado. As a gay man coming of age in the late 1960's, I am intimately acquainted with the shame and trauma that come with being different from the cultural norms and with the power of psychedelics intentionally used to heal and transform. I specialize in working with spiritual seekers who are looking for something beyond how to succeed in the 9 to 5 rat race. Through my extensive metaphysical training and experience, I am able to help clients take the "deep dive" into self-inquiry and to map out and integrate experiences of the Ineffable, and thus to definitively answer the three great existential questions of life: Who am I? Why am I here? How then should I live?
STEPS ON THE JOURNEY
STEP 1: Complementary consultation. A 20-minute high-level screening to see if psilocybin is right for you.
STEP 2: Intake. I get to know you better as we fill out the required forms together online. About 90 minutes.
STEP 3: Orientation. We talk about what the journey itself may look like, set agreements, form intentions and learn self-regulation tools. About 60 minutes.
STEP 4: Administration. Your journey time. We review agreements, conduct ritual ceremonies if desired and your journey begins. Total time 6-7 hours, maybe more depending on dosage and sensitivity.
STEP 5: Integration. One initial 60-minute session within 48 hours after the journey. A second 60-minute follow-up session 3-4 weeks out is optional and included.
